Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Konfigo, a service for managing feature flags and configuration values, provided by Gabor Magyar, a private individual, 7624 Pécs, Rókus utca 5. Contact: hi@magyarg.dev. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. Your account

You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding agreement. Give accurate information, keep your password and API keys safe, and tell us if you think they were compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.

2. The service

Konfigo lets you store flags and config values and read them through an API. Do not store passwords, secrets or personal data in config values: anyone holding a key for that environment can read them. We may change or improve the service and will try to give notice of changes that significantly reduce what you can do.

3. Plans and limits

The Free plan includes 1 project, up to 20 flags and config values per project, and 100,000 API requests per calendar month (UTC). Requests over the monthly allowance are rejected until the next month. API keys are also rate limited per minute. A paid Pro plan is planned but not yet available; its price and terms will be shown before you buy it, and Free will not turn into a paid plan without your explicit action.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not break the law or infringe others' rights.
• Do not attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service, or bypass rate limits and plan limits.
• Do not use the service to distribute malware or to store content you have no right to store.
• Do not resell access to the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, with notice where reasonably possible.

5. Your data

You keep all rights to the flags, values and other content you put into Konfigo. You give us the limited right to store, process and serve it to run the service for you. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete projects at any time, and ask us to delete your account.

6. Availability and warranty

We work to keep Konfigo running but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Build your app so it behaves sensibly (for example with default values) when the API cannot be reached. The service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose (or EUR 50 if you use the Free plan). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for intentional or grossly negligent harm, harm to life or health, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

8. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend the service for you for a serious breach of these terms, or close it down with reasonable notice. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer in the EU you keep the mandatory consumer protection rights of your country of residence. Otherwise the competent courts of Budapest, Hungary have jurisdiction. Please contact us first at hi@magyarg.dev and we will try to solve the issue.
